Rebecca "Becky" Carroll, 43, of Conway, died unexpectedly on Sunday, February 12, 2017.

She was born March 20, 1973, in Grove City, Pa. She is the daughter of William (Barbara) Howard of Economy and Patricia Lightner Mattison of Ambridge.

Surviving are her husband, James W. Carroll II; five children, Michael (Kayla) Howard Carroll of Conway, Mathew Carroll of Conway, Mason Carroll of Economy, Morgan Carroll of Baden, and Melody Carroll of Conway; granddaughter, Mariah Howard Carroll; four sisters, Jennifer (Bernie) Kuhn of Economy, Shelley (Shawn) Streb of Economy, Sarah Hawk of Butler, and Ruth Mattison of Ambridge; two brothers, Jason (Shannon) Simms of Harmony Township, and James (Jessica) Simms of Pittsburgh; maternal grandmother, Helen Lightner of Grove City, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the JOHN SYKA FUNERAL HOME INC., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. James Hogan, pastor of Faithbridge Community Church. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Freedom.
