William "Bill" P. Pyle

William P. Pyle, 75, of Monaca died on Thursday, February 17, 2022, in Washington Hospital, Washington, PA. He was born on January 19, 1947, in Rochester, PA to the late William and Velma (McBride) Pyle. He was a retired steel worker for Teledyne Steel Corporation. Bill was a long-time member of North Branch Presbyterian Church, Monaca. His passions in life included making homemade brandy, going to the casino, and playing cards at home with his friends and family.  He started a greeting card ministry at his church sending out cards to people for all occasions. He sang in a Barber Shop Quartet, Beaver County Chapter and never missed singing Happy Birthday to his many friends. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were his first wife, Alberta (Ruckert) Pyle, second wife, Alberta (Pajak) Pyle, an infant sister, Velma Marie Pyle, and a granddaughter Angel Jenee Pyle-Thompson.  He is survived a son, Yance (Lisa) Pyle of Cincinatti, OH, two daughters, Kelley Pyle (Shane Durrance) of Huffman, TX, Leah (Gerard) Pyle-Thompson of Monaca, seven grandchildren, Mila Durrance, Dara Pyle, Justin Pyle-Thompson, Javin Pyle Thompson, Josiah Pyle-Thompson, Kaitlyn (Greg) Shurts, and Aaron Pyle, two great grandchildren, Emmelyn Shurts and Eleanor Shurts, two brothers, Larry (Rebecca) Pyle and David (Cheryl) Pyle, 2 stepdaughters, Rachel Vighetti of Bridgeville and Beth Boro of Economy, 2 step grandchildren, Robbie Best and Leo Vighetti, nieces and nephews, Tommy Pyle, Tammy Pyle, Rhonda Pyle-Reed and Anthony Pyle. Visitation will take place on Saturday, February 26, 2022, from 10 AM until time of funeral services at 2 PM at North Branch Presbyterian Church, 139 N Branch Road, Monaca, PA 15061. Since there will no visitation at the funeral home, any who wishes to send flowers are requested to tell the florist to have the flowers delivered directly to the church on Saturday between 9 and 10 AM. Interment will be private.
