William R. Keber

William R. Keber, 81 of Hopewell Township, passed away August 6, 2023, in his residence surrounded by his loving family.  He was born in 1942, a son of the late William and Jean Knouse Keber.  He was a 1960 graduate from Ambridge High School from where he went on to PSU to obtain his accounting degree in 1970.  He was employed at Weld Tooling Corporation, for 44 years as an accountant.  William was a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam War, a member of the Knights of Columbus Lodge 5947 in Hopewell, and the Baden American Legion Post 641, where he served as a financial officer for 4 years.  Surviving is his loving wife of 50 years Mary Keber, 3 children William J., Elizabeth A., Michael J. (Kimberly), 4 grandchildren William P., Brianna, Mikenna, & Luka, brother & sister-in-law Richard (Marsha) Keber, and many nieces & nephews.  Friends will be received on Thursday from 3-8 P.M. in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge. Family and friends are asked to meet Friday at 10 A.M. for a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Hopewell.  Interment will take place privately in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.  In lieu of flowers the family asks your generosity to be directed to the American Cancer Society or your preferred charity.
