William R. Fields

William (Bill) R. Fields, 76 of Aleppo Township, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023, in Masonic Village at Sewickley.  He was born May 29, 1947, a son of the late Ralph and Clare Zimmer Fields.  Bill worked for Easter Seals for the majority of his career.  Bill was a devout sports fan. Although he especially loved watching college football, he was loyal to his Pirates, Penguins, and Steelers.  He also enjoyed attending the Philharmonic and theaters in downtown.  Bill was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and an active member of the congregation until taking up residency at Masonic Village in Sewickley.  He is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Doris, and three nephews, Eric, Ryan, and Greg.  A private funeral was held on Saturday, July 8, 2023.
