Obituary

William M. Davis, 75, of Harmony Twp., died Monday, September 11, 2023, at Allegheny General Hospital. He was born on October 23, 1947, in Sewickley, to the late William H. and Elizabeth (Dzibiak) Davis. He was a retired clerk typist for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Bill served his country as a member of the US Navy during the Vietnam War. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Michael and Julie Leach. Surviving is his wife, Janet (Leach) Davis, a son, Glen Davis, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marlene and William Gandjos of Harmony Twp., sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Patricia and Simon Dengel of Hummelstown, PA, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kim and Marianne Leach of Etters, PA, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Susan Leach of Cleona, PA and numerous nieces and nephews. There will be no public visitation. Family and friends are invited to meet Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 11:45 AM in the parking lot of the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc, 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge where his funeral procession will leave promptly at Noon to go to the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies where Bill will be laid to rest with full military honors provided by the Brentwood VFW Post 1810 Military Honor Guard and the United States Navy.
