Wayne A. Freeman

Wayne A. Freeman, 67, of Hopewell Twp., passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020 in Heritage Valley, Beaver. He was born on November 17, 1953 in McKees Rocks, to the late James and Sarah "Betty" (Barnes) Freeman. Wayne was a 1976 graduate of the University of Cincinnati where he received his BS degree in civil engineering. He furthered his education and received his MBA from Robert Morris College. He worked as a cost estimator and civil engineer for Pittsburgh-Des Moines Steel Corporation in Neville Island for 25 years. He later worked for US Filter (Veolia Water) and was currently employed at Matrix PDM Engineering Inc., Crafton. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Kimberly (Chichester) Freeman, a son, Jeremy (Jaclyn) Freeman of Cheswick, a daughter, Lauren (William) Metz, Jr. of Economy, grandchildren, Justin Freeman and Liam and Aubrey Metz, brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Jill Freeman of Enola, PA and numerous nieces and nephews. Due to the Covid-19 health concerns, CDC guidelines and PA mandates on indoor gatherings, services and interment will be private. Nothing would make Wayne happier than playing a round of golf in his memory. A public celebration of Wayne's life will take place when health concerns improve and restrictions are lifted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to your favorite charity.
