Wanda L. Gallio

Wanda L. Gallio, 89, a long time resident of Harmony Twp., passed away on Friday, May, 7, 2021.  She was born on October 7, 1931 in Normal, IL to the late Herbert and Eva (Tirey) Werner.  She retired as an inspector for Maury Aerospace Microwave Corporation in Ontario, CA and was a member of the former First United Presbyterian Church of Ambridge.  Wanda had a love of animals and fed every stray cat, deer, and bird in the neighborhood.  Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her husband, Ronald "Tony" Gallio, a brother, Herbert G. Werner and sister-in-law, Carmella Werner Thornhill.  She is survived by two nephews, Herbert A. Werner of Northridge, CA, Brett S. Werner of Aliso Viejo, CA, numerous nieces and nephews, and her devoted neighbors and caregivers, Michaelene "Mickey" and Robert Kuhel.  There was no visitation.  Private burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Freedom.  Memorial contributions are requested to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Rd., Aliquippa, PA 15001. Arrangements were entrusted to the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, PA 15003.
