Virginia M. " Gini" Patricelli, 89, a resident of Cambridge Village, formerly of Baden, died Sunday, May 30, 2021 in Heritage Valley, Beaver. She was born on February 26, 1932 in Aliquippa, to the late Virgil and Edythe (Lux) Gray. She was a 1950 graduate of Aliquippa High School where she was a cheerleader and a very enthusiastic follower of "Quips" football. Gini graduated from the New Brighton School of nursing and worked in various local hospitals. She also worked for Dr. Edson Rogers in Beaver for 30 years and the former DT Watson home until her retirement. She was an extremely talented artist and her favorite paintings were those of Sad Clowns and Santa Claus'. She loved every kind of animal imaginable with "Iggy" the iguana being her favorite. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband, Donald, February 12, 1976, two infant sons, Mark and Ronnie, daughter, Susan Burkert, March 27, 2021, and a sister and brother-in-law, Margi and Ray Ross. She is survived by a brother, Kenneth (Mae) Gray, a sister, Maxine Ursitti, all of Hopewell Twp., a brother, Richard Gray, of South Beaver Twp. and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Friday from 5 until 7 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc., 833 Kennedy Dr. Ambridge. Private interment will take place in Economy Cemetery. A special thank you to the entire staff of Cambridge Village of Beaver Falls for the loving and compassionate care extended to Giny while under their care.
