Vincent D. Sinovic

Vincent D. Sinovic, 85, of Crescent, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 in Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver.  He was born June 9, 1935 in Beaver Falls, to the late Joseph and Loretta (Lombardo) Sinovic. He was a 1954 graduate of Ambridge High School and attended the University of Pittsburgh. He was a faithful member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Crescent and the former Wolves Club, Ambridge. Vincent served as athletic trainer with dedication and passion with the Freedom School District for 50 years. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents was a daughter, Lynette Polce, grandson, Paul Vincent Kincaid, and sister, Joan Miller. He his survived by his loving companion, Catherine (Cathy) Dreyer of Economy, two daughters, Darla Sinovic of Freedom, Pamela Collins of Rochester, grandchildren, Tiffany Polce, Julia Chioda, and Jenna Baker, great-grandchildren, Damion Chioda, Dannika Chioda, Blu Musgrave and Delta Chioda-Hansen, niece, Cindy Engelman of Cranberry Twp., nephew, Tom Miller of Conway and brother-in-law, Thomas Miller of Conway. Due to the Covid-19 health concerns visitation will be private. Family and friends are invited to meet Wednesday in St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 199 McGovern Blvd, Crescent, PA where a public Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 1:00 PM with Father Robert Seeman officiating. Those attending are required to wear a mask and social distance in the pews. Interment will follow in Economy Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Vince Sinovic Scholarship Fund, care of Freedom Football Alumni Association, 907 Gross Street, Conway, PA, 15027. Checks can be made payable to the Freedom Football Alumni Association.   Arrangements have been entrusted to the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive Ambridge.
