Timothy Rakovan II, age 28, of Economy, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 24, 1993 in Beaver, to Elaine (Klavin) Rakovan with whom he resided and the late Timothy J. Rakovan. He was a member of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Ambridge. Timothy's greatest joy was serving his church where he was an altar server from age 4 to age 25. His passion was spending time with family and friends. Preceding him in death in addition to his father were his paternal grandmother, Marie Rakovan, maternal grandparents, Nick and Emilie Klavin, Sr., and uncle, Mike Rakovan. He is survived by his loving mother, Elaine (Klavin) Rakovan, a brother, Dmytri Rakovan of Baden, paternal grandfather Stanley Rakovan of Gibsonia, aunt, Sue Rakovan of Moon Twp., uncle, Nick (Annie) Klavin, Jr. of Fairfax, VA, aunt, Vicky (Victor) Bowers of Tampa, FL, uncle, Ed (Toni) Klavin of Aledo, TX, and numerous loving and caring cousins. Let us always remember Timothy’s sincere and infectious smile flanked by the cutest dimples and his towering gentle hugs that cocooned us. Friends will be received on Monday from 3 PM until time of Parastas services at 7:30 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge. Additional visitation will take place Tuesday from 9 AM until time of funeral services at 10 AM in St. Vladimir Ukrainian Orthodox Church. His pastor, The Very Rev. Michael Kochis will officiate. For the health and safety of those attending the church service, masks are required. Interment will follow in Economy Cemetery. The family would like to thank Julie, Tom and Aunt Sue for their loving care and his church family and friends who prayed for him. They would also like to thank Dana with NeuroRestorative for Timothy’s cognitive therapy visits twice a week, Dr. Suski and the Western PA HDSA, and Lisa, Lois, NP Savannah of AHN Hospice for their loving and compassionate care.
