Stephen Mattie Jr.

Stephen P. Mattie, Jr., 65, of McKees Rocks, passed away on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Hillman Cancer Center, due to complications from surgery.  He was born in Sewickley, on May 11, 1960, to Carol and the late Stephen Mattie, Sr.

Stephen was a house painter and handyman by trade.  He enjoyed cooking, telling jokes, and possessed a great sense of humor.  Stephen truly had a heart of gold – he would do anything to help anyone.  Stephen loved animals and people; especially his family.  He will be missed by many.

Stephen is survived by his mother, Carol Mattie; 2 sons, Stephen P. Mattie III and Jesse Lee Mattie; and a brother, Thomas Michael Mattie.

He is preceded in death, in addition to his father, by his wife, Anita Bosh Mattie.
