Stephen M. Firkaly

Stephen M. Firkaly, 77 of Economy Borough, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2023, with his loving wife by his side.  Born in Sewickley, he was a son of the late Steve and Jane Janicki Firkaly.  He was a US Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War, a member of Baden American Legion, and was an avid Pittsburgh sports enthusiast.  Surviving is his loving wife Margie Firkaly of Economy, brother Charles Firkaly of Harmony Township, 3 brothers in law Frank (Sandy) Gaguzis of Fair Oaks, Bill (Betty) Gaguzis of Allsion Park, John Gaguzis of Ambridge, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins, and 2 special friends Mickey & Tony Ditullio of Darlington.  There will be no public Visitations.  Family and Friends will meet on Wednesday at 11:45 A.M. in the parking lot of the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, from where a procession will leave at Noon to go to the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, where Stephen will be laid to rest with full military honors at 1 P.M.  In lieu of flowers the family asks donations to be made to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, PA 15001.
