Stella Woytovich, 98 of Baden, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024, in Brighton Rehabilitation & Wellness Center.
She was born November 1, 1926, in Leetsdale, a daughter of the late Hnat and Stella Sradomski Veloski.
Stella was a stellar cook, seamstress, loved playing cards with her gal pals, and helping make piroghi for the church.
Surviving are 2 daughters, Justine Woytovich, Christine (John) McKenna, 2 grandsons, Ian McKenna and Geoffrey (Kelcy) McKenna, 2 great granddaughters, Gianna & Amelia, and numerous nieces & nephews.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her loving husband, John Woytovich, 3 brothers, John (Mary Alice) Veloski, Mike (Fran) Veloski, Charlie (Joyce Ann) Veloski, 3 sisters, Mary (Mike) Sheleheda, Anna Veloski, and Kay (Pete) Fabinich.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 4-6 P.M. in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, from where a service will be held Thursday at 11:15 A.M., followed by a church service at Noon in the SS Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, with Father Michael Polosky Officiating. Interment will follow in SS Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family asks memorials to the SS Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 404 6th Street, Ambridge, PA 15003.
