Silvana "Sylvia" D'Alessandris, 96 of Baden, passed away Monday, July 22, 2024, in the Good Samaritan Hospice House, Wexford.
She was born May 2, 1928, in Castelvecchio Subequo, Provincia Di Aquila, Italy. Daughter of the late Pasquale and Mariascenza (Santilli) Paolini. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, Baden where she belonged to the Christian Mothers Ladies Guild and was a member of the Ambridge Womens Club.
The most important things in her life were taking care of her family and spending time with them. Whether it was attending a musical event in which her family participated or just simply sitting with a cup of coffee and talking together at her home, all that really mattered to her was that her family was ok. Many wonderful meals were prepared and enjoyed in her loving home. Her never-ending goodness, insight, and wisdom will be missed.
Surviving is her loving son and daughter-in-law Ronnie A. (Barbara) D'Alessandris, daughter and son-in-law Donna (Robert) Raso, grandchildren Julie (Skyler) Freed, Robbie Raso, great grandchildren Sienna, Serene, & Zara Freed.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her loving husband Elvie D'Alessandris, 2 sisters Ilda DiLoreto and Isolina Paolini, and her brother-in-law Gino Paolini.
Friends will be received on Friday August 2, from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, from where prayers will be offered on Saturday August 3, at 10 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. in the Good Samaritan Catholic Church-St Luke the Evangelist Parish. Interment will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery Mausoleum.
