Shirley M. Semonik, 86, of Baden, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Good Samaritan Hospice, Wexford. She was born in Sewickley on July 15, 1938, to the late Kyle and Elizabeth (Drexler) Stewart.
In her spare time, Shirley enjoyed building jigsaw puzzles and absolutely loved watching the Pittsburgh Pirates play ball. She possessed a great sense of humor and enjoyed sharing funny “dad jokes;” especially with her grandsons. Above all, Shirley’s ultimate treasure in life was spending time with her family. She will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew her.
Shirley is survived by her 3 children, Stephen (Natalie) Semonik, Sharon (Dave) Tedys, and Brad (Collette) Semonik; 8 grandchildren, Nicholas (Apolonia) Semonik, Noah Semonik, Amber (Brandon) Vargo, Matthew (Mia) Tedys, Aaron Tedys, Kyle (Bri) Tedys, and Bradley and Michael Semonik; 6 great grandchildren, Everly, Jack, Bentley, Aubree, Mylah and Jayden; also, a brother, Thomas Stewart.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her loving husband of 48 years, Michael Semonik.
All are welcome to gather for a visitation on Sunday, from 1-5 PM, in the John Syka Funeral Home, 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, PA 15003, from where a Blessing Service will be offered on Monday, at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in Pinewood Memorial Gardens, Cranberry.
