Sherry L. Hunter

Sherry L. Hunter, 70, of North Fayette Twp., passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023, at Good Samaritan Hospice House, Marshall Twp. She was born on February 23, 1953, in Sewickley, to the late John A. Hunter, Sr. and Tillie (Medianowsky) Hunter. She was a retired network engineer for United States Steel Corporation and a member of SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ambridge. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was a sister, Karen Peterman. She is survived by a sister, Susan Palchick of Mayfield Heights, OH, a brother, John A. Hunter of Hookstown, nephew, Justin Palchick of Novelty, OH, aunt, Anne (Medianowski) Walko of Masonic Village, Aleppo Twp.  brother-in-law, Scott Peterman of Grand Junction, CO, special cousins, Michelle (Mike) Vetovich, Melanie Grove, and Carol Batrella. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park with her pastor, Father Michael Polosky officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 404 6th Street, Ambridge, PA. 15003.
