Sherman Gary

Sherman Gary, 65, of Marshall Twp. passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 in Allegheny Health Network, Wexford. He was born on April 2, 1956 in Rochester, PA to the late George Gary and Annetta (Beall) Gary of Beaver. He was employed as a service co-ordinator at ARS Refresh in Zelienople. Sherm was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting at his camp in McKean County, PA. He loved spending time with his grandchildren who called him "Grandad". He will be missed by all who knew him.  Preceding him in death in addition to his father were his father-in-law, Clifford Hutson and brother-in-law, Ray Matakovich. Surviving in addition to his mother are his loving wife of 42 years, Kim (Hutson) Gary, a daughter, Melanie (Bryan) Stacy of Economy, a son, Brandon (Greta) Gary of McCandless Twp., grandchildren, Eli, Sam and Anna Gary, Ava and Braiden Stacy, two brothers, George (Donna) Gary of Spring Creek, NV, Bruce (Joni) Gary of Clinton, sisters-in laws, Becky (Nick) Zabala of Strongsville, OH , Cindy Matakovich of Economy, mother-in-law, Joanna Hutson of Saxonburg and numerous nieces and nephews. A private family visitation was held on Tuesday in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Dr. Ambridge. A private Mass of Christian Burial followed at Saints John and Paul Catholic Church in Wexford. Private interment was in Economy Cemetery.
