Sheila R. Mattocks

Sheila R. Mattocks, 66, of Hopewell Twp. died unexpectedly on Monday, March 23, 2021. She was born on March 28, 1955 in Sewickley, to the late Norman and Wilma (Ward) Drake. She was a co-proprietor of the Covered Bridge Inn in Traverse, PA for many years. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband, Kenneth Paul Mattocks, sister, Brenda Ann Lundy and a brother Gary Drake. She is survived by her two children, Brandy (Jason) McCunn of Marion Center, PA, Raleigh Basinger and his fiance Jessica Zuzow of New Castle, two grandchildren, Raleigh (Cody) Basinger and Sierra McCunn, two sisters, Sandra Mohr of Cranberry, and Denise Drake Jones of Washington, PA. Friends will be received on Thursday from 6-8 PM  in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM. Her cousin, Rev. Allan Drake will officiate. Interment will follow in Americas Cemetery, Hermitage.
