Sandra L. Kriger

Sandra L. Kriger, of Crescent, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at the age of 70 after a long courageous battle with dementia. Sandra was born on January 4, 1953, in Sewickley, to the late John and Helen (Scott) McMahan. She graduated from Ambridge High School and raised her family in Crescent Twp. She along with her husband Louis owned and operated Bulldog Transit and Supply Company until her retirement in 2020. She was a kind, patient and loving wife, mother, and friend. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was a brother, Rick McMahan.  Sandra leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Louis W. Kriger with whom she celebrated 50 years of marriage on December 16, 2022. She is also survived by her children, David (Jodi) Kriger and granddaughter Audrey of Hopewell, Kari (Brett) Mohney and granddaughter Reese of New Sewickley Township, a sister, Connie Dunmire of Rochester Mills, PA, brother-in-law, David Kriger (Sheri Ali), sister-in-law, Maryann McMahan of Economy, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, neighbor and best friend Shirley (Bill) Herstine of Crescent as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6 until time of funeral services at 7 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge. The Rev. Randall Clow, pastor of New Bethlehem Presbyterian Church will officiate. Interment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Riverdale Presbyterian Church, 1555 Brodhead Rd. Moon Township, PA 15108.
