Sally S. Barker

Sally S. Barker, 72, of Baden, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Heritage Valley, Sewickley surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on March 20, 1951, in New Brighton, to the late Grant and Alma Ruth (Murray) Laughren. She was a member of Baden United Methodist Church.  Sally was a lover of country and Christian music and enjoyed playing the lottery, crafting, dancing, cooking, and baking.  She enjoyed putting smiles on people's faces and would provide compliments to everyone including total strangers. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her beloved husband, Raymond V. Barker, brother, Grant Laughren, Jr. and sister, Barb Tomlinson.  She was the loving mother of two sons, Raymond (Candy) Barker, Michael (Christina) Barker, all of Baden, cherished grandma of James, Coltin, Kylee, Shawn, Brandon, and Evan, and great grandma of Maia, Eric, and Aiden. Friends will be received on Friday from 6 until time of memorial service at 7:30 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge.  Her pastor, the Rev. James Young will officiate.
