Ruth E. Robertson

Ruth E. Robertson, 73, of Harmony Twp. passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 in Beaver Valley Health and Rehab Center, South Beaver Twp. She was born on August 15, 1947 in Sewickley, to the late Harvey and Katherine (Lepinsky) Robertson. Ruth was an office supervisor for the former Sears and Roebuck Company and a caregiver for many years.  She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ambridge, where she was the housekeeper and cook at the rectory for many years. She was very active in the church and served as a Lector, faithful pirohy worker and a member and past-president of the Marian Guild Society. She is survived by her two sisters, Kathleen Nicholson of San Antonio, TX, Cynthia (Cindy) Robertson and her husband Roger Lindgren of Seattle, WA, two nieces, AnneMarie (James) Hooge of Boerne, TX and Diane Nicholson of Ohio, great nephew, James Hooge and great niece, Laura Hooge, both of Boerne, TX. Friends will be received Thursday from 6-8 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge from where a Panachya service will be held Friday at 11:30 AM followed by a church service at noon in SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church with her pastor, Father Michael Polosky officiating. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church.
