Rosalia (Rose) M. Kardasz, 87, of Baden, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022. She was born on July 20, 1935 to the late Anthony and Rose (Provenza) Scichilone. Rose was a member of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and a graduate of Ambridge High School class of 1953. She was retired from Sewickley Valley Hospital. Rose enjoyed playing pinochle with her seven card club friends, bowling, making crafts, and being with her family. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her high school sweetheart and husband of 65 years, Ed Kardasz who passed away on August 19, 2022 and her sister, Phyllis Prentice. She is survived by one son, David (Michelle) Kardasz, two daughters, Cathy (Bubba) Huwar, Linda (Don) Sturm, seven grandchildren, Jamie, Katie, Erica, Christie, Sam, Louis and Jennifer, seven great grandchildren, two sisters, Edith Schlerth and Gloria. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Dr. Ambridge where prayers will be offered on Thursday at 10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, Good Samaritan Church.
