Ronald D. Petalino

Ronald D. Petalino,  83 of Independence, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024, in his residence.
He was born in Leetsdale, a son of the late Romando and Lucia Acerino Petalino.  He was a US Army veteran, where he served as a military policeman, enjoyed traveling, doing puzzles, dining out, and attending air shows.  He was a retired employee from J&L Steel and Calgon Carbon in Robinson.
Surviving is his loving wife Lois Petalino, brother Anthony Petalino, sister-in-law Sandy Rusko, brother-in-law Frank Rusko, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were his 3 sisters Caroline (Stocky) Floro, Theresa (Thomas) Hudson, & Josephine (Joseph) Stranko, and 3 brothers Sam, Tom (Margaret), & Michael (Elizabeth) Petalino, and a sister-in-law Margaret Petalino.
Friends will be received on Monday from 6-8 P.M. in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, from where a prayer service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 A.M.
Interment will follow in Sewickley Cemetery.
