Robert E. Mickey

Robert E. Mickey, 44, of Ambridge, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022. He was born on May 29, 1978, in Erie, PA, to Robert R. Mickey of Economy and the late Candise (Ely) Enders. He was a graduate of Ambridge High School. He worked as a production manager for Sherwin Williams and was a supervisor for IDS, Pittsburgh Airport. Bob was a great cook and a generous soul with the best sense of humor. He loved boating, camping and being outdoors.  Preceding him in death, in addition to his mother, was his stepfather, James B. Enders. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Robert R. and Theresa Mickey of Economy; fiancé, Becky Glesner and her son Zack; siblings, Donnie Stephens of Conneaut, OH, Kristy (Matt) Russin of Economy, J.C. (Alison) Enders of Beaver; two nieces, Candise and Carley Russin, and two nephews, Hunter and Levi Stephens.  Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Dr. Ambridge where a funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 AM with the Rev, Jamie Fowler, pastor of Concord Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will follow in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Hookstown. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to American Cancer Society at cancer.org.
