Robert A. Hladio

Robert A. Hladio, 66, of Ambridge passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 in Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. He was born on November 17, 1954 in Sewickley, to the late Michael and Nellie Devanzo Hladio, Sr.  He was a retired employee of Grant Oliver Corporation, Pittsburgh International Airport. Robert attended SS Peter and Paul Ukranian Catholic Church, Ambridge and was a member of UNA Branch 120, Aliquippa. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents was a sister, Catherine A. Hladio, December 8, 2020. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia (Spolarich) Hladio, son, Matthew R. Hladio of Ambridge, brother, Dr. Michael (Julianne) Hladio, Jr. of Bridgeville, niece, Dr. Nicole Hladio, DVM of Bridgeville, nephews, Michael (Jocelyn) Hladio of Bethel Park and Jeffrey Hladio of McMurray, and brother-in-law, Greg Spolarich of Aliquippa, and his four legged companion Rocky.  Visitation will take place Monday from 10 AM until time of services at noon in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Dr. Ambridge. Father Michael Polosky will officiate. Due to Covid-19 health restrictions, only 10 people are permitted in the funeral home. Masks are required and social distancing must be practiced. Private interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul Cemetery.
