Robert J. Fodor

Robert J. Fodor, 80, of Conway, died Monday, October 10, 2022. He was born on February 22, 1942, in McKees Rocks, to the late Robert and Catherine (Ulrich) Fodor. He retired as a check printer for Deluxe Check Printing. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He had a passion for archery and was an avid bowler. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents was a sister, Betty Ruth and his second wife, Betty DeSantis Fodor.  He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Marenovich) Fodor, a son and daughter-in-law, Robert C. and Amy Fodor of Baden, two grandchildren, Alyssa and Britney Fodor and a brother, Charles Fodor of Carnegie. Friends will be received on Saturday from 2 until time of funeral services at 3:30 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Dr., Ambridge. The Rev. Jill McGregor will officiate. Anyone who wishes to attend Robert's burial services are asked to meet at the Syka Funeral Home on Monday at 1:15 PM where the funeral procession will leave promptly at 1:30 PM for interment with full military honors at 2:30 PM in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Washington Co. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting contributions be made payable to the John Syka Funeral to assist with funeral expenses.
