Richard Monaci Jr.

Richard Monaci Jr., 55, a lifelong resident of Harrisville, Venango County, PA died on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. He was born on May, 21, 1967, in Sewickley, to the late Richard L. Monaci, Sr. and Nancy Louise (Thompson) Monaci. He was a lifelong farmer who farmed the family farm and had a passion for hunting and fishing. Richie had a special place in his heart for loving animals. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were his paternal grandparents, Diego and Elvira (Cleva) Monaci, and maternal grandparents, James and Eva (Stevens) Thompson. Surviving are an uncle, John Thompson of Baden, aunt, Joyce Whitehouse of Scottsdale, AZ, aunt and uncle, Betty and Frank Palakovich of East Rochester, uncle, Gary Thompson of Conway, several cousins, the closest being Lori (Jim) Altenhof of Cranberry Twp., Mark Thompson of Lawrence, PA, Victoria Green of Conway and many special friends in the Harrisville area. There was no public visitation. Funeral services and interment were private. Arrangements were entrusted to the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. Ambridge.
