Richard N. Erdelack, 63, of Economy, died Tuesday, September 21, 2021 in Good Samaritan Hospice of Beaver. He was born on March 16, 1958 in Pittsburgh, to the late William Erdelack, Sr. and Margaret (Mang) Erdelack. He was employed as an auto shop foreman for 42 years at The Sewickley Car Store until his retirement in March of 2020. He was an avid golfer, a very talented musician, enjoyed reading and was " The World's Greatest Uncle". He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Marnie (Mihleder) Erdelack, a brother, William Erdelack, Jr. of North Hills, a sister, Patty Mayhue and Chuck Rayl of Calcutta, OH, nieces and nephews, Stephen Masternak and wife Jennifer Giles of Virginia, Michael (Nicole) Masternak of Calcutta, OH, Leslie Erdelack of Cheswick, Kevin Erdelack of Natrona Heights, great nieces, Kiera and Everleigh Masternak, great nephew, Stephen Masternak, extended family, Tom and Kim Smith of Wexford and their children and Rick's special nieces, Brittney, Caitlin, Kelsey, and Bailey, Keith and Carole Kalmbach of Harmony, PA, Susan Kalmbach of North Hills, and Kathy and Craig Shepard and family of North Hills. Friends will be received on Friday from 3 until time of blessing service at 7 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Dr. Ambridge. Private interment will be in Sewickley Cemetery. Marnie would like to thank the staff of Good Samaritan Hospice for the compassionate care extended to Richard during his final days. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Good Samaritan Hospice.
