Raymond T. Yope

Raymond T. Yope, 76, of Harmony Twp., died Sunday, May 12, 2024, at Good Samaritan Hospice House, Marshall Twp. He was born on May 20, 1947, in Sewickley, to the late Thomas and Eleanor (Duke) Yope. He was a 1965 graduate of St. Veronica High School and went on to receive a degree in computer science from Penn State University. He was a self-employed computer consultant in the financial sector and proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents was a brother, Richard J. Yope. Surviving are his siblings, Debra (Charles) Stockdale of Economy, Edward (Kathy) Yope of Ambridge, John Yope of Center Twp., nieces, Jennifer (Khanh) Do, Kira and Ashlee Stockdale, nephews, Christopher Yope, Eric (Amy) Yope, Brian (Emily) Yope and ten great nieces and great nephews. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge. Private inurnment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Washington County.
