Raymond W. McClellan

Raymond W. McClellan, 79, of Economy Borough, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, in Wexford Healthcare Center.  He was born in Sewickley, on March 20, 1945, to the late E. Dale and Mildred (Miller) McClellan.

Raymond worked as a Millwright for J&L Steel in Aliquippa for 12 years, then WCI Steel in Warren, Ohio for 20 years, until his retirement.  He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.  Raymond was a member of the Ambridge American Legion for 44 years, a life-long supporter of Scouting, and a life member of the Sons of the American Revolution.

Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia, and daughter, Renee (David) Marchant.  Also, he is survived by a brother, Dale (Shirley) McClellan, brother, Richard McClellan, sister, Nancy Seth, sister, Alice (Paul) Camesi, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, from 4-8 PM, in the John Syka Funeral Home, 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, PA 15003, from where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, at 10:30 AM.  Interment will follow in the Economy Cemetery with the Beaver County Special Unit conducting full military honors.
