Patty Hallaman

On November 18, Patty Gameos Hallaman passed away with her family at her side, after many years of living with Alzheimer's at the Masonic Village at Sewickley. 
Patty was a warm, generous, and kind person. A devoted mother and wife, she cared deeply for her family and her church. She was a gentle, loving soul who enjoyed entertaining, meeting new people, and helping friends and family in need. Nothing made Patty happier than being surrounded by her family and friends, cooking traditional Greek meals, and cheering on her beloved Steelers. She will be deeply missed. 
Patty Hydos was born on August 13, 1934, to Louise and Hector Hydos in Youngstown, Ohio. She graduated from East High School in Youngstown and married James John Gameos in 1954. Together, they raised their family in Conway, until his passing in 1997. Patty was employed at the Beaver Valley Medical Center for over 15 years. In 2003, she married Ted Hallaman, and they enjoyed music, traveling, and quiet times together until his passing in 2010. 
Patty leaves behind three children, Gary (Cheryl Conte) Jamis, Nicholas Gameos and Lisa Gameos, and two grandchildren Dr. Carmen Jamis Henderson and Christian Gameos. She also leaves behind many friends, cousins, nieces, and nephews who fondly remember Patty for her kind and caring ways. 
Friends will be received on Thursday, November 21, 2019, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. in the JOHN SYKA FUNERAL HOME INC., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge. A Trisagion service will be held Thursday at 3:30 P.M. in the funeral home. Additional visitation will take place on Friday, from 11 A.M. until time of funeral service at 11:30 A.M. in the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 2930 Beaver Road, Ambridge, with Father Anastasios Athanasiou officiating. Interment will follow in Economy Cemetery.
