Patricia Marroni

Patricia L. Marroni, 87, of Harmony Twp., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 11, 1935, in Jeannette, Westmoreland Co. to the late Earl and Hilda (Heakins) Robb. She along with her husband John opened Marroni's Lounge in Leetsdale in 1977 which they owned until passing the business on to their oldest son Thomas in 1991. She was admired for preparing her delicious homemade spaghetti and meatballs and homemade Christmas cookies which was the invitation card for family get together and holiday meals served with lots of love. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband, John L. Marroni, Sr., a son, Vincent A. Marroni, and brother, Doran Robb. She is survived by her four children, Alisa (Paul) Caton of Beaver, Angela Gulley of Palm Bay, FL, Thomas (Joni) Marroni of Tidioute, PA, John L. Marroni, Jr. and consort Rachel Rigano, both of Ambridge, stepdaughter, Anita (Scott) Williams of Sebring, OH, eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, two sisters, Donna (Fred) Gruenberg of Palos Heights, IL, Faye Klavonick of Penn, PA, brother, Ron (Leigh) Robb of Pelzer, SC and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation will take place on Sunday from 1 PM until time of Memorial Service at 4 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Dr. Ambridge. The Rev. Dr. Allan Drake, pastor of Plum Creek Church will officiate.
