Patricia Louise Deane, 89, of Economy, passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021 in Cambridge Village, Patterson Township. She was born on April 6, 1932 in Shippingport, PA to the late Henry and Myrtle (Hayward) Ewing. She was a graduate of the Sewickley Valley Hospital School of Nursing where she worked as a registered nurse and the former Beaver Valley Geriatric Center in Brighton Twp. She was a long time member of the Concord Presbyterian Church. Her passion in life was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed sitting on her porch swing, attending garage sales, and watching her children plant and replant her schrubs, trees, plants, and bushes. She along with her late husband were race car enthusiasts and loved traveling and attending races, something that was passed down to her children as well. She enjoyed watching her Pittsburgh sports teams. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband, Albert W. Deane, Sr. (former owner of Deane Pontiac-Buick, Ambridge), a brother, Robert Ewing, a sister, Josephine Temple, and her beloved four legged faithful companion, Shadow. She is survived by her five children, Linda L. (James) Blumling, Albert W. "Skip" (Maureen) Deane, James D. (Sandra) Deane, Daniel J. Deane (Mom's Little Angel) all of Economy, Jeffrey T. (Pamela) Deane of New Sewickley, 16 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Betty Herron of Hopewell Twp., Nellie Beal of Hookstown, numerous nieces and nephews, and long time special friend, Jane Hartle. Friends will be received on Monday, August 16 from 4 to 8 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 17 at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the staff of Cambridge Village and Heartland Hospice for the loving and supportive care extended to Patricia during her stay there and during her last days. Patricia would like to leave you singing to the words of her favorite singer, the late and great Dean Martin, "Everybody loves somebody some time, something in your kiss just told me, that sometime is now."
