Nikolay L. Bekman

Nikolay L. Bekman, 59, of Pittsburgh, died Sunday, July 11, 2021 in UPMC Mercy. He was born on May 24, 1962 in Slvata, Ukraine to the late Leoneid Bekman and Risa Bekman of Pittsburgh. He worked as an engineer in the construction business in Europe prior to coming to the United States. Surviving in addition to his mother are his girlfriend, Irina Grinberg, two daughters, Elen Bekman and Antonia Bekman, a brother, Yuri (Regina) Bekman of Pittsburgh, two nephews, Sasha and Michael Bekman, and a niece, Ellis Bekman. Friends will be recieved Tuesday from 11 AM to 1 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge. Family and friends will meet following visitation at 2 PM at the graveside in Homewood Cemetery, 1599 South Dallas Ave. Pittsburgh, PA.
