Nick Wright, 67, of Baden, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023, in UPMC Shadyside following a long courageous battle with multiple myeloma. He was born on February 11, 1956, in Rochester, to the late Leonard L. and Nellie (Homick) Wright. Nick worked as a burial vault installer for the former Valley Burial Vault Company and later for Wilbert Vault Company. Nick was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and loved riding his Harley Davidson. His passion in life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He and his wife Pauline would love to just pick up at the spur of the moment and go for long rides just to get away to the mountains or wherever the spirit led them. They would cap off there day by eating out at many different restaurants. Nick had a warm personality that everyone knew and loved. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were two sisters, Sandy Wright and Debbie Spokart, stepson, Jeffrey Wheeler, step grandson, Christopher Wheeler, and brother-in-law, Pete Barness. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Pauline (Ondrako) Wright, son, Zachary Wright (Jesse) of Knox, PA, two stepchildren, Suzy (Mike) Kashiwsky of Baden, Robert (Shelly) Weaver of Baden, grandchildren, Zachary Wright, Tristen Wright, Brianna, Jacquelyn Wheeler, Jonathan Ippolito, Jacob (Kacie) Fogel, great grandson, Jesse Wheeler, two sisters, Lori Barness of Beaver, Marlene (Robin) Brunton of Aliquippa, brother-in-law, Drew Spokart of Aliquippa, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and a great great niece. Friends will be received on Thursday from 4-8 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 AM by the Rev. Cindy Vogel, Co-Pastor of the Church of the Heights. Interment will follow in Economy Cemetery.
