Myrna Metz Obituary

Myrna Metz, 86, of Crescent, died Tuesday, September 14, 2021 in Apple Blossom Senior Living, Moon Township. She was born on September 1, 1935 in Sewickley, to the late Carl and Helen (Keim) Morris. She attended the Glenwillard United Methodist Church. Her passions in life included ceramics, cake decorating, target shooting, and spending time at the family cabin in Tionesta. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband, George Metz on September 10, 2021 and a daughter Holly Rochelle Metz. She is survived by her three sons, George C. (Robin) Metz of Ambridge, Gary (Merran) Metz of Raccoon Twp. and Glen (Cathy) Metz of of Hookstown, eight grandchildren, Heather Metz and her husband Jonathan Markley, Andrew Metz, Megan (Mike) Racioppo, Katelyn (Brian) Grinnik, Jessie (Mark) Charles, Jake Metz, Liz Herron, Amanda (Brad) Phillips, Nathan and Gavin Racioppo, twelve great-grandchildren, Gavin, Chase and Emma Grinnik, Zane Charles, Ayree Metz, Bella, Hailey, Cloe, and Alana Joslin, Alyssa and Waylon Phillips, and a brother, Paul (Priscilla) Cain of Monaca. Private funeral services were held in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge and private interment followed in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
