Michelle (Hanner) Smedley

Michelle [Hanner] Smedley, 72, of Baden, PA, passed away on July 19, 2024, at home.

Born May 26,1952 in Rochester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Dorothy [Reott] Hanner.

Michelle was a loving sister, devoted wife, beloved mother, and cherished MawMaw. She was married to her loving husband John Smedley, for 45 wonderful years. A dedicated nurse, Michelle was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering dedication to her family. She loved traveling and spending time with her loved ones. She enjoyed reading, Bingo, and Bunco. Among her greatest accomplishments, she was most proud of her family.

Michelle is survived by her husband, John Smedley; her children, Scott and Nicole Smedley; daughter in law, RaeAnne Smedley; her grandchildren, Alice and Owen; her sisters, Kim (Kevin) Kelley, Debra (Brian) Bussard, Denise (Terry) Castelli and many nieces, and nephews. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and Friends will be received on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the JOHN SYKA FUNERAL HOME INC., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, from where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at 10:00 A.M.

Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park in Rochester, PA.
