Marie "Mary" (Vettorazzi) Conti

Marie (Mary) Vettorazzi Conti, 91, of Economy Borough, passed away peacefully, at home with her family by her side, on Sunday, April 3, 2022. She was born on December 28, 1930, in Ambridge, to Italian immigrants Giulio and Pierina (Cetto) Vettorazzi. After graduating from Ambridge High School in 1949 and then Robert Morris University, she worked at HH Robertson, Ambridge. In 1954, she married the love of her life, Arthur J. Conti. Maria was a lifelong member of Good Samaritan Parish, Ambridge, Christian Mothers Ladies Guild, and Italian Women's Club. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and will be greatly missed. Maria cherished her children and grandchildren and was always so proud of all of them and their accomplishments over the years. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughters, Lisa and Lynette, with whom she resided; two sons, C. Kevin and Eric (Linda); daughter-in-law, Dawn; her brother, Joseph (Marilyn) Vettorazzi; five grandchildren, Ethan, Nathan, Jared, Julia, and Eva Conti. The family is especially grateful to Bessie Howard for her love, care and support. In addition to her parents, Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Joseph, and infant son, Mark Arthur. At Maria's request there was no public visitation. A private Mass of Christian Burial was held at Good Samaritan Catholic Church followed by private interment in Economy Cemetery. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Rd., Aliquippa, PA 15001 or to St. Vincent DePaul Society, c/o Good Samaritan Catholic Church, 725 Glenwood Ave. Ambridge, PA 15003.
