Marian Chismire

Marian Chismire, 87, of Baden, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 14, 2022, in Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. She was born on February 3, 1935, in Ambridge, to the late Pete and Theresa (Young) Miller. She was an active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Baden and belonged to the Christian Mothers Ladies Guild, sang in the choir and was a faithful pierohy worker for many years. Marian enjoyed baking, sewing, and cooking for family dinners. She was a very faithful and prayerful woman. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband, Donald Chismire and brother Richard Miller. Surviving are her six children, Cindy Chismire-Wood of Baden, Daniel Chismire and Joe Riniker of Studio City, CA, Debbie (Brad) Dornish of Economy, Donnie Chismire of Conway, Carolyn (John) Venn of Ambridge, Marie (Mark) Krechowski of New Brighton, ten grandchildren, Josh Wood, Jacob (Kori) Wood, Angela Roppo and Kevin Hoffman, Ashley (Chris) Heinrichs, Emily (Jordan) Maddox, Nolan (Tina) Chismire, Tori Venn and Zachary Johnston, Luke Venn, Mark Krechowski, Jr. and Lindsey Haffey, Mitchell (Katie) Krechowski, and eleven great-grandchildren. Friends will be received on Thursday from 5-8 PM at the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Dr. Ambridge where prayers will be offered on Friday at 12:30 PM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Baden. Interment will follow in Good Samaritan Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Samaritan Kitchen Meal Service, at Good Samaritan Catholic Church, 725 Glenwood Ave. Ambridge, PA 15003.
