Margaret Petalino Obituary

Margaret Ann Petalino, of Economy, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 in Good Samaritan Hospice House, Marshall Twp. at the age of 83 with her loving husband at her side after an eight year battle with cancer. She was born in Ambridge, PA to the late John and Doris Evelyn (Carrodus) DeVries. She worked at the former Krogers Grocery Store in Northern Lights Shopping Center. Margaret  took a position in the fragrance department at Kaufmanns, Beaver Valley Mall representing Oscar de la Renta as an independent contractor. She was promoted to regional account manager for Oscar de la Renta  covering Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, Ohio and New York. She was a long time member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Conway, where she was a member of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers and the Kizzie Sisters. She leaves behind to cherish fond memories, her beloved husband and wonderful caregiver, Anthony Petalino, two sons, Timothy Petalino of Charlotte, NC, Mark (Beth Ann) Petalino of Whitehall, grandson, Nathan Marcus Petalino of Charlotte, NC,  sister, Evelyn Kudlac of Baden, brother, Jan DeVries  of Florida and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will meet Tuesday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Conway where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM by Father Paul Cupp, Our Lady of the Valley Parish, St. Cecelia Catholic, Rochester. Services will conclude at the church as Interment will take place privately in Sewickley Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Agha and the entire staff of the Hillman Cancer Center for their excellent care.
