Lorraine Evelyn Buffalini, 68, of Baden, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 23, 2023, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 30, 1955, in Rochester, to Margaret (Trenary) Pecoraro of Long Boat Key, FL and the late Lawrence Pecoraro. She was a customer service agent for the former US Airways, and a member of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, Good Samaritan Church and originally a member of the former Christ the King Catholic Church, Ambridge and the Italian Women's Club. Lorraine was a caring, compassionate and loving wife, mother, sister and homemaker. She loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. She loved growing up on Kennedy Drive in Ambridge where she had the distinct honor of shaking hands with former President John F. Kennedy when his motorcade drove past her house in the 1960s. Preceding her in death in addition to her father was a brother, Larry Pecoraro. She leaves behind her loving husband of 47 years, Bob Buffalini, a daughter, Melanie (Brad) Usher of Mars, a son, Brian Buffalini of Baden, three sisters, Kathy Pecoraro of Madison, Alabama, Susan (Dan) Turner of Brighton Twp., Lou Ann Powell of Long Boat Key, FL and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Thursday from 11:30 AM until time of blessing service at 3 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge.
