Loretta J. Vallecorsa

Loretta J. Vallecorsa, 88, of Baden, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at Concordia Villa St. Joseph Personal Care, Baden surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 2, 1934, in Ambridge, to the late Andrew and Mary (Stritchko) Muha. She was member of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Baden where she was member of the Christian Mothers Ladies Guild, church choir and worked for the pirohy project. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were a son, Paul E. Vallecorsa, brothers and sisters, infant sister, Veronica Muha, Andrew (Helen) Muha, John (Barbara) Muha, Mary (Andy) Ross, Anna (Leo) Dixon, Agnes Welsh, Margaret (Tony) Mastrofrancesco, and Barbara (Joe) Dempsey. She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Eugene Vallecorsa, daughters, Cynthia Witowich of Baden, Laurie (Dave) Sutton of Baden, Dana (Nick) Lundquist of Economy, seven grandchildren, Kristin (Chris) Novic, William (Hilary) Witowich, Jacob Sutton, Katie (Jeff) Salopek, Anna, Sarah and Erik Lundquist, 9 great grandchildren, Katerina, Lindsay, Jonathan Novic, Kendyll, Carolyne, Kelsey Witowich, Lillianna, Amelia, Nolan Salopek, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Friends will be received on Thursday from 4-8 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge where prayers will be offered Friday at 10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Baden. Interment will follow in Good Samaritan Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of choice.
