Linda L. Letrick, 68, of Bell Acres, passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021 in Allegheny General Hospital. She was born on October 2, 1952 in Sewickley, to the late Louis and Margaret (Barr) Segeleon. Linda was a 1970 graduate of Quaker Valley High School and a graduate of West Penn Hospital School of Nursing. She received her BS degree in nursing from Slippery Rock University and her Masters Degree from LaRoche College. Linda's nursing career began at Sewickley Valley Hospital where she worked on the medical-surgery unit and in the emergency department. She then taught at the Sewickley Valley Hospital School of Nursing before she became the director of nursing at Valley Care. Linda then moved on to Allegheny General Hospital where she became the unit director of multiple departments. She was an adjunct faculty member at Waynesburg University where she taught a leadership and management course. Her passions in life besides nursing were taking trips to the beach and reading books. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her husband, Scott F. Letrick. Surviving are two children, Chad Louis Letrick and Megan Letrick, both at home, her beloved four legged faithful companion, Gus and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and colleagues. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 PM and 6 until time of services at 7:30 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge. The Rev. Chris Dericks, pastor of Riverdale Presbyterian Church will officiate.
