Linda Coombs

Linda G. Coombs, 69, of Sewickley, passed away  on Saturday, September 25, 2021. She was born on September 17, 1952 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Harry Muders, Sr. and Helen G. (Perris) Muders. She enjoyed a 20 year career with the US Navy retiring as hospital corpsman and also as a pharmacy technician for the Hillman Cancer Center until her second retirement. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was a sister, Donna Marie Cymbalak. She is survived by her husband, Michael Arthur Coombs, a daughter,  Ashley Taylor of Sewickley, three brothers, Harry Paul Muders, Jr. and Robert Allen (Donna) Muders, all of Aleppo Twp, David Gerald (Kelly) Muders of Hayesville, and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge. Members of the Beaver County Special Unit will meet Friday at 9:30 AM  at the funeral home to perform military honors. Prayers will offered at 10:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in Divine Redeemer Parish, St. James, 200 Walnut St. Sewickley, PA 15143. Her pastor, Reverend Brian W. Noel will be the presider. Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery where the United States Navy will complete the funeral honors.
