Joseph Stranko, Jr., 93, of Ambridge, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Rochester Manor. He was born on June 5, 1929 in Ambridge, to the late Joseph (Ann) Stranko Sr. He was a retired foreman for Armco Steel Corporation. Joe proudly served his country as a Staff Sergeant in the US Airforce during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, Ambridge. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were his wife, Josephine (Petalino) Stranko on January 18, 2013 and a son, Steven Stranko on January 29, 2014. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Stranko III and wife Cynthia of Marietta, GA, 4 grandchildren, Melissa Ann Stranko of Ambridge, Samantha Ellie (Evan) Brehm of Savannah, GA, Rebecca Jean Stranko of Pittsburgh, Anthony Joseph Stranko of Ft. Collins, CO, and a great grandson, James Oliver Brehm. Friends will be received on Friday from 10:30 AM until time of a memorial service at noon conducted by the Baden American Legion. Prayers will follow at 12:30 PM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM at St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, 725 Glenwood Ave. Ambridge. Interment with full military honors provided by the Beaver County Special Unit and the United States Air Force will follow at 2:15 PM in St. James Cemetery, Sewickley Heights.
