John A. Mihalsky, 92, of Conway, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022 in Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. He was born on September 29, 1929 in Sewickley, to the late John and Charlottte (Malin) Mihalsky. He was a retired millwright for Armco Steel Corporation and after his retirement drove a school bus for Rhodes Transit. John was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Conway, Baden Legion, Ambridge VFW, Polish Falcons, and the Ambridge F.O.E. He proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He enjoyed watching all the Pittsburgh sports teams and landscaping. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were his wife, Nita (Carnavale) Keck, a son, Ron Keck, and a sister, Judy Mercadante. He is survived by a son, Rick Keck of Conway, grandchildren, Drew and Kaitlyn Keck, both of Philadelphia, daughter-in-law, Wendy Keck, sister, Dolores A. Harrison, of Harmony Twp. and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to meet Wednesday at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Conway where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 AM. Interment will take place at a later date in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
