John T. Lebda, 72 of Beaver Falls, died September 9, 2023, after a twelve-year battle with ALS.
Born August 2, 1951, in Windber, PA, a son of the late John and Caroline Plasay Lebda, he retired from First Energy Corp. in Shippingport, PA where he held many titles, lastly a Technology Specialist and Health Physicist. John received a bachelor's degree in biology from Penn State University. John also received a master's degree in biology from Clarion University and a master's degree in Radiological Health Services from the University of Pittsburgh.
John was an avid outdoorsman and gun collector; he enjoyed sky diving, snow skiing, hiking, rock climbing, caving and kayaking. John was a private pilot, owning his own plane, airport and ski diving business. John was a former member of the Beaver County Flying Club and Beaver Falls Sportsmen's Club.
Surviving is his wife Lori Badgley Lebda; a sister Carol (Bill) Loftus of Baden; a brother Jim (Barb) Lebda of Economy and many nieces and nephews of which he was so very proud of.
Per John's wishes there will be no public visitation.
