James Johnson, 91, of Baden, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 in Heritage Valley, Sewickley. He was born on February 11, 1931 in Ambridge, to the late Gus and Mary (Lima) Johnson. Jim served as a staff representative for the United Steel Workers International Union and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Baden. He proudly served his country as a member of US Navy during the Korean War. Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were two brothers, Samuel and John (JJ)

He is survived by his wife, Pauline (Slamanick) Johnson, a daughter, Judy (Don) Durkosh of Sewickley, a son, Jim (Patricia) Johnson of Conway, 5 grandchildren, Amanda (Nathan) Richard, Kaitlin (Jason Zito) Durkosh, Brianne Durkosh, Jamie Johnson, and Erik Johnson, a great granddaughter, Thea Richard, two sisters, Amelia (William) Avedellas of Camp Hill, PA and Isabel Niznik of Baden. There was no public visitation. A private blessing service took place on Saturday, April 30, 2022 in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. Private interment was in Good Samaritan Cemetery, Fair Oaks.
