Helen (Dobransky) Bartolac

Helen (Dobransky) Bartolac, 93, of Harmony Township, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022. She was born on December 4, 1929, in Harmony Township to the late Michael and Anna (Lawryk) Dobransky. Helen was a long time faithful member of SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Ambridge. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her husband, Thomas J. Bartolac and her ten brothers and sisters. She is survived by her four children, Dr. Thomas Bartolac and his wife Dr. Justine Cakanac, Kathy (Richard) Olexsovich, Carol Bartolac, and David Bartolac, five grandchildren, Amy-Gabrielle Bartolac, Dr. Michael Bartolac, Dr. Anna Olexsovich, Dr. Thomas Olexsovich and John Olexsovich, along with numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Friends will be received on Friday from 6 to 8 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, 833 Kennedy Dr.Ambridge. A Panachyda service will be offered Saturday at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral Liturgy at 11:00 AM in SS Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church with her pastor, Father Michael Polosky officiating. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul Cemetery. A Parastas service will be offered Friday evening at 6 PM in the funeral home.
