Grant Bogacki, a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, teammate, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on July 20, 2024, along with his loving sister, Emma Bogacki, and father, Nathan Bogacki. He was born on August 28, 2010, at the Butler Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania.
Grant attended Riverside Elementary School, Ellwood City Elementary School, and Howland Middle School. He was about to enter his 8th grade year and graduate in 2029. His hard work ethic and constant smile earned him the admiration of both teachers and peers throughout the school.
Outside of school, Grant enjoyed fishing, playing baseball, and basketball. Being outdoors was his happy place, as he enjoyed exploring and building things out of anything he could find. He loved attending his sisters' sporting events and cheering them on, being known as their #1 fan. On the baseball field, his coaches admired his strong arm, leadership, coachability, and most of all, his willingness to be a team player. Grant's smile, kind heart, and adventurous spirit touched everyone he met.
Grant is survived by his loving mother, Nicole Bogacki, and his sister Aubrey. He also leaves behind his maternal grandparents, Samuel and Janice Aloi, paternal grandparents, Edward and Patricia Bogacki, Aunts and Uncles Natalie and David Syka, Amy and Mike Hepak, and loving cousins Maddie, Tyler, and Makinley Syka, Taytum and Kenzie Hepak. He was met at heaven's gate by his maternal great grandparents, Frank & Dorothy Horniak and Samuel & Catherine Aloi, paternal great grandparents Edward & Mary Louise Bogacki and Edward & Virginia Baker, and all his beloved pets who have crossed the rainbow bridge.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 11:30 A.M. in the Good Samaritan Catholic Church-St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, 725 Glenwood Avenue, Ambridge, PA 15003. Grant's legacy of kindness, hard work, and love for all things outdoors will continue to inspire and be missed by all who knew him.
